Our Holy Mission The Diocese of George believes that it is called by God and is being sent out into the world by Him, to bring people to be followers/disciples of Jesus in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and to bring them to understand and accept the teaching of Jesus in a holistic way, knowing that God is with His people to the end of time.
  Promote Gender Equality & the Empowerment of Women
  This was identified as one of our diocesan priorities in implementing the Millennium Development Goals. In order to achieve this, the Gender Desk was revived last year by a few ladies who appreciated the idea  and considered this as an opportunity to reveal  talents, skills and capabilities and women potential within the diocese. The following ladies were elected to the organising committee: The Rev Pam Berning (Secretary), Dorothy Jacobs, Rev Annie Saayman, Colleen Drude (MU President), Susan Williams (AWF Pres), Adeline Domingo, Felicity Smith, Rev Pauline Esau and Nobambo Mkosi (chairperson)
